With Trans Portugal mountain bike race cancelled, I decided to simulate the race in my garage. This is a summary of my journey during 8 days, 600 miles, and 50,000 feet of climb. My hope is to provide a positive message for anybody out there that is struggling to get motivated and help you believe that the only thing that is stopping you to achieve your goals is yourself. Never stop dreaming, be humble, be adaptable, be resilient, be strong, be adventurous....and most important...live to the fullest!
With Trans Portugal mountain bike race cancelled, I've decided to simulate it at home in my garage. This is a compilation of Stage 8 with 58.4 miles and 4,200 feet of climb, finished in 4:09 hours. This completes the 8 days with 40 hours ridding my mountain bike, simulating 600 miles and 50,000 feet of climb. Thank you to my friends, family, and followers that supported me through this amazing journey! Remember that the only thing that stops you to do what you want to do is you, and with dedication and a positive attitude, everything is possible! Enjoy the video and be tune for the final compilation in a few days!
This was Fernando's 2nd time in Alaskaman XTri where once again he finished strong.
